Objective:
To identify, develop, and onboard vendors for reefer container spare parts, transport
services, logo and painting requirements, and other needs related to sales, operations,
and administration, ensuring cost-effective procurement and vendor alignment with
company standards across Pan India locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Identification: Research and identify potential vendors for reefer container spare parts, transport services, logo and painting requirements, and other departmental needs.
- Vendor Communication: Engage with vendors through visits and office meetings to establish business relationships.
- Rate Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure competitive and favourable agreements.
- Agreement Formalization: Facilitate the signing of agreements with vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Onboarding and Coordination: Ensure smooth onboarding of vendors and maintain regular communication for ongoing requirements.
- Market Visits: Conduct personal visits to vendors for assessment, evaluation, and strengthening partnerships.
- Pan India Coverage: Manage vendor development activities across multiple locations in India.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; no prior experience required.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for vendor visits and meetings.
- Basic understanding of reefer container spare parts and logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendor relationships.
