4. In addition, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

As a Cold Chain Solution Specialist, the main goal is to develop new and existing products. The role also focuses on creating pre- and post-sales solutions to increase Reefer Container sales. This involves concept selling, creating modular cold storage solutions, and leasing Reefer Containers for cold storage across India.
Additionally, the role integrates product knowledge, technical support, research and development, and maintenance oversight. It also uses expertise in refrigeration systems, ISO containers, electrical systems, and diagnostics to deliver efficient solutions.
1. Product Knowledge and Pre-Sales Support:
. Learn all about reefer container technology, including cooling systems, insulation, and temperature control.
. Meet with clients before sales to show why our Reefer Containers are better than others.
. Understand what each client needs and explain how our features solve their problems.
. Work with the technical team to create solutions that match customer requirements.
. Speed up lead conversions by making easy-to-read brochures, booklets, and 3D visuals.
. Use simple designs and clear technical charts to help customers understand better.
2. Technical Query Handling:
. Be the main technical contact for customers and the sales and marketing team.
. Handle questions about Reefer containers, cold storage, and cold chain solutions.
. Clearly explain container features, cooling systems, and maintenance steps.
. Work with internal teams and outside suppliers to quickly fix technical problems.
3. Research and Development:
. Lead R&D projects to improve the performance, energy use, and durability of Reefer containers.
. Keep up with new refrigeration tech, rules, and best practices in the industry.
. Work with other teams to build and test new features or upgrades.
. Use data and customer feedback to improve product design and use.
. Develop new products like Reefer containers, blast freezers, pre-cooling chambers, IoT tools, and cold chain solutions for pharma and frozen foods.
. Offer easy-to-use software tools for Reefer containers to help with tasks like keeping the right temperature, remote checks, alerts, and tracking door use.
4. Oversight and Mentoring:
. Guide and supervise maintenance and repair technicians.
. Hold regular training sessions to improve team and customer knowledge.
. Make sure all work follows quality standards, safety rules, and legal requirements.
. Cut costs by upgrading team skills, buying quality parts at better prices, and choosing the right vendors in India and abroad.
. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of refrigeration, HVAC systems, electrical work, and mechanical parts.
. Analytical Skills: Good at solving problems and reading technical documents, diagrams, and data.
. Communication Skills: Able to explain technical details in a clear and simple way.
. Organizational Skills: Focused, well-organized, and good at managing time.
. Adaptability: Can work alone or with a team in a fast-changing environment.
. Bachelor’s degree or technical training in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
