Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and organized Operations Manager to lead our Portable Refrigerated Containers division. The right candidate should have hands-on experience and a sharp focus on improving daily operations.

In this role, you will manage inventory, handle repairs, and coordinate between the sales and purchase teams. You will also be responsible for after-sales service, dispatch, logistics, and quality checks before shipment.

Strong communication skills are a must. You should be able to solve problems quickly and lead teams effectively. Being proactive and reliable is key to succeeding in this position.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Technical Oversight and Maintenance:
a. Manage the repair and upkeep of refrigerated containers at different depots.
b. Create and follow regular maintenance plans to keep equipment working well and meet industry rules.
c. Check containers often and do audits to find issues and fix them quickly.

2. Team Leadership and Management:
a. Lead the team of technicians and monitor maintenance work. Give clear guidance, training, and regular feedback.
b. Plan technician schedules for maintenance, checks, and repairs. This helps reduce downtime and use resources well.
c. Build a team culture that focuses on safety, quality work, and efficiency.

3. Revenue Generation and Business Development:
a. Find ways to earn more through spare parts sales, tool use, and service contracts.
b. Create and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and service deals. Focus on profit and keeping clients happy.
c. Work with sales and marketing teams to promote maintenance services and reach more customers.

4. Container Inventory Management:
a. Keep track of all containers coming in and going out.
b. Make sure each container is clean, working well, and ready to dispatch.
c. Use a system to check container status, availability, and past repairs.

5. Customer Relationship Management:
a. Be the main contact for key customers. Answer their questions and keep them happy.
b. Listen to customer feedback. Make changes to improve service and go beyond expectations.
c. Build strong, lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

6. Operational Excellence and Compliance
a) Keep clear records of maintenance work, equipment updates, and expenses using ERP software.
b) Follow company rules, safety laws, and environmental guidelines at all times.

Minimum Requirement:

1. A B.Tech or a similar degree. Extra certifications in container maintenance and repair are a plus.
2. Over 7 years of hands-on experience in maintaining refrigerated containers or similar machines, especially in depots or logistics.
3. Good knowledge of how refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems work.
4. Strong leadership skills with a history of managing and growing teams.
5. Clear communication, good negotiation, and smart problem-solving skills.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reefer Technician – Middle Level to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine and corrective maintenance of refrigerated containers, troubleshooting refrigeration and electrical systems, and ensuring the operational readiness of reefer units. This role plays a critical part in maintaining cold chain integrity and ensuring the timely transportation of temperature-sensitive goods.

  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on reefer containers.

  • Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration issues (Carrier, Thermo King, Daikin, etc.).

  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of containers.

  • Maintain service records and report any faults.

  • Support junior technicians and collaborate with operations/logistics to ensure reefer readiness.

      Assist in scheduling and executing reefer servicing to ensure units are inspected, repaired, and ready for dispatch on time. Coordinate closely with logistics to synchronize maintenance timelines with operational requirements.

      Maintain accurate and timely records of service activities, including maintenance tasks and spare part usage. Ensure job cards, fault reports, and daily logs are updated according to company standards and submitted without delay.

    3. Teamwork & Communication
      Collaborate effectively with both senior and junior technicians to complete maintenance tasks. Maintain clear communication with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams regarding reefer status, issues identified, and progress updates. Actively contribute to team performance and cohesion.

  • Additional certification in reefer systems (e.g., Carrier, Thermo King, Daikin) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the tender & RA business vertical to achieve revenue targets.

You will leverage your hands-on expertise in refrigeration systems to diagnose issues remotely, guide clients through troubleshooting, and coordinate field service interventions with precision and professionalism.

  • Respond to client queries related to reefer container performance, alarms, and system behavior
