Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Operations Manager to lead our
Portable Refrigerated Containers division. The ideal candidate will possess practical knowledge
and a mindset geared towards increasing operational eiciency, coupled with strong execution
capabilities. The Operations Manager will oversee all activities related to inventory management,
repair coordination, customer interaction, internal coordination between sales and purchase
teams, after-sales service, dispatches, logistics, and quality checks before dispatch. This role
requires someone with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to resolve high-level
issues promptly, also he must have leadership qualities to lead the teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Operations Oversight:
Ensure smooth operation of all activities within the department.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor performance metrics and address operational issues promptly.
Demonstrate strong execution capabilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on
time.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels eectively.
Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor inventory turnover rate.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct pre-dispatch inspections to ensure containers meet quality standards.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
Customer Coordination:
Handle customer queries efficiently to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Provide updates to customers on dispatch and delivery statuses.
Internal Coordination:
Facilitate communication and coordination between sales, purchase, and other internal
teams.
Ensure timely information flow and resolve internal issues efficiently.
Dispatch Management:
Oversee dispatch schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Coordinate with logistics and Sales / yard teams to optimize dispatch processes.
Logistics Management:
Optimize delivery routes for cost-efficient transportation.
Manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure on-time deliveries.
Maintenance and Repair Coordination:
Schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance activities with the help of Senior
Technician/Maintenance Manager
Conduct preventive maintenance schedules on a monthly and yearly basis to ensure
minimal downtime.
After-Sales Service:
Manage after-sales support and warranty claims.
Handle customer feedback and complaints to ensure high customer retention.
Technology and Automation:
Stay updated with the latest technology trends in process automation.
Implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to streamline processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
B. Tech / Business Administration / Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in logistics or portable
refrigerated containers.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inventory management and logistics software.
Strong execution capabilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Preferred:
Practical knowledge of repair and maintenance procedures for refrigerated containers.
Experience in handling refrigerated containers.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset geared towards increasing operational
efficiency.
Objective:
The primary objective of the Operations Manager is to ensure the efficient management and
smooth operation of the Portable Refrigerated Containers division. The role involves high-level
issue resolution, process optimization, and strategic planning to enhance productivity and
operational efficiency, with a strong focus on executing tasks effectively.

Resolve customer queries within 24 hours.
Maintain a customer satisfaction score of 90%+.
Dispatch and Logistics:
Achieve a 98% on-time dispatch rate.
Optimize delivery routes quarterly for cost efficiency.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Maintain a Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) of less than 48 hours.
Ensure 95%+ adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
After-Sales Service:
Respond to customer feedback within 24 hours.
Resolve 95%+ warranty claims within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
