Hydrogen Peroxide

In the heart of Qatar, a renowned petrochemical company excels in producing high-grade low-density polyethylene (LDPE) for a variety of applications. A recent customer request led to a unique solution—a 40ft refrigerated container designed to international standards with dual machinery. The challenge was to maintain an ultra-low temperature of minus 30 degree celsius to safeguard a vital industrial catalyst, ‘Peroxide,’ also known as ‘Hydrogen Peroxide.’ Our commitment to excellence ensured this specialized solution met the highest industry standards.

Challenge:

Our client required a 40ft container equipped with dual, independent refrigeration units, capable of individual operation. Meeting international standards was crucial, including:

  • Voltage: 380/440 Volts
  • Frequency: 50 Hz A.C.
  • Unique phase and earth conditions
  • 32 Amp circuit breaker with Type “D” motor start
  • A 32 Amp outlet socket within 10–15 meters of the machinery, protected by an RCD for electrical safety

Our Approach:

To address the client’s needs, our team developed a creative solution that involved merging two containers with open sides at the site. Key aspects of our approach included.

Dual Machines:

Each machine was capable of managing two containers and maintaining temperatures as low as -40°C.

Adaptation to Qatar's Conditions:

The solution was designed to withstand Qatar's scorching summer temperatures.

Double Bays:

We constructed a container with two bays, each spanning 16 feet in width, providing ample space and efficiency.

Success:

The success of this project was driven by several factors.

Communication:

Open and effective communication with the client and within our team was essential.

Innovation:

We found a creative and practical solution that met the client's unique requirements.

Dual Machinery:

Adding a second machine proved to be a game-changer, enhancing reliability and performance.

Space Efficiency:

The design maintained interior space without any compromises.

Perfect Design:

The final outcome met all the client's needs and exceeded their expectations.

Achievement:

The journey began with a client inquiry in June 2022. Despite initial challenges, we successfully fulfilled and dispatched the order in just 45 days. The order included four specially designed 40ft dual refrigerated containers. This case study highlights key elements of our success:
